| Issue #2 Abortion |
 God
commands that we, as individuals, should not intentionally
kill
another human being, ("Thou shalt not kill." Exodus
20:13). He also condemns the shedding of innocent blood
and his wrath is kindled against his people who sacrifice
their children to idols. ("Yea, they shed innocent
blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters,
whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Caanan." "Therefore
was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people" Psalms
106:38 &40) How is our Nation obeying in this
area? Since 1973 over 40,000,000, (yes, forty million)
babies
have been sacrificed to our modern day gods of pleasure
and convenience, and the sacrificial killing continues
apace, at the rate if approximately one and two/tenths
million, (1,200,000), annually, practically unnoticed
anymore. Think about it, what is more innocent than
a defenseless, unborn, baby? Medical science has
shown that within a couple of weeks of conception
a fetus
has
developed a circulatory system of it's own, still
connected to, but separated from the mother's, the
connection
is necessary for the food supply and waste removal
necessary
for the continued development of the fetus hi it's
isolation from the outside world. The fetus is therefore
a separate
individual from the mother, very early in it's life,
most probably even before the mother knows for certain
it exists. In addition to angering God, and much
less important than that, it is economically foolish
to
remove 40 million potential producers and tax payers
from participation
hi our society and economy. Our Social Security officials
say that the Social Security program is in trouble
because the number of contributors is less than the
number of
payees, and the negative difference is growing greater
each year. No doubt that this is true, because based
upon the so called wisdom of our judiciary, 40 million
contributors have been sacrificially killed since
1973, and continue to be sacrificed at a rate of
some one
and two/tenths million annually to our Nation's twin
gods
of Pleasure and Convenience. We urge you to cast
your vote for those candidates, national, state,
or local,
who oppose abortion, except possibly to save the
life of the mother. Who are we to oppose and deny
the will
of the God of all Creation. There is an added emotional
factor to be considered. There is no way that we
as humans can know and measure the lingering grief
and
regret of
the many millions of mothers, and perhaps even fathers,
who in desperation have chosen abortion, only God
and they know the depths of their feeling of guilt,
regret
and despair, however the testimonies of many of these
individuals reveal that the great emotional damage
resulting from their action is enormous and enduring.
We say to
any one regretting and grieving over an abortion,
or who hi desperation is considering one, God offers
forgiveness
and hope. If you will contact us we offer help and

and the peace of salvation to all who believe on
Him and come to Him through His crucified and resurrected
