| Are you Concerned About the Path Our Nation is taking? |
 What
are the critical issues in the coming election? It
is said, "Change is needed." What should
we seek to change? Some issues are even more critical
to our Nation than the "temporary low" in our
present economic cycle, or the situation in Iraq. Think
of what is happening to our Nation's Christian Heritage.
Take note of how it is gradually being eroded into oblivion,
primarily by the court decisions made, many times by
one or two of the many uncontrolled judges in our courts
who are motivated by politics, and/or personal gain or
position or both. It is difficult to believe and understand
how the laws and ordinances which have remained constitutionally
sound and upheld by our courts for some 200 years, have
suddenly become unconstitutional, and apparently even
without standing in precedent. We seem to have forgotten
that God has promised to bless the nations who love and
obey Him ("Blessed is the nation whose God is the
Lord, and the people He hath chosen for his own inheritance." Isaiah
33:12) and ("Righteousness exalteth a nation but
sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34).
Similarly God has promised to destroy any nation that
disobeys Him and refuses to serve Him. ("For the
nations and kingdoms that will not serve Thee shall perish,
yea those nations will be utterly wasted." Isaiah
60:12) and ("But if they will not obey, I will utterly
pluck up and destroy that nation saith the Lord." Jeremiah
12:17). Think about it, consider, which way are we
as a Nation presently choosing? Blessing for us and
our
children, or destruction for us and our children? We
need to prayerfully consider our responsibility as
citizens and voters. Let us look at and consider the
following
