| The
Need of the Man - Mercy |
| |
1)
None cared for his soul: (v48)
a)
John 5:7 (The impotent man said) "Sir,
I have no man, when the water is troubled, to
put me into the pool..."
b) Psalms 142:4 "I looked on my right hand,
and behold, but there was no man that would know
me; refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul."
2) No physician could heal him:
a)
Mark 5:26 "And had suffered many things
of many physicians, and had spent all that
she had, and was noting better, but rather
grew worse,"
b) John 9:32 "Since the world began
was it not heard that any man opened the
eyes of
one that
was born blind."
3)
No person wanted to be around him: v46 "...he
sat by the waysidebegging... "
4)
No one present wanted to hear his plea but
Jesus v 49 "Jesus stood still,
and commanded him to be called. And
they call
the blind man,
saying
unto him, be of good comfort, rise;
he calleth thee."
